One of my best friends from high school just got engaged! I’m so so excited for her!! I found this photo from the senior shoot we did; it feels like just yesterday! I still remember sleeping over at our friend’s house deciding who would get married first and it was always Rachel-and of course we were right! From the moment we began to hear about Jacob we knew he was going to be around for awhile. I couldn’t be happier for her and the married life ahead of her. Congrats again Rachel, can’t wait for July 27!

Emily’s Senior Photos

image

I’ve known this girl for at least 10 years now and she is one of the sweetest and most genuine girls I know. She is also graduating from Vanguard this May with her religion degree and works as a Children’s Director at her local church. Emily is inspiring and I can’t wait to see more of what she does for the children in Lakewood!

Hope you enjoy the photos!

Savana’s Senior Photos

image

I had the pleasure of taking one of my best friends senior photographs this weekend. We met back in elementary school while going to the same church and ended up becoming part of a close group of friends in high school. I don’t know where I would be without this ray of sunshine in my life. Savana’s been a wonderful friend throughout the years & we’ve had so many wonderful memories together. I’m so proud of her for her finishing of her degree at Vanguard this upcoming May and can’t wait to celebrate in just a couple months!

Hope you enjoy!

Day Adventures with Mother Dearest

With my dad out of town in Chile, my mom & I usually like to make some more time for those girly adventures-shopping, giggling, eating girly meals, etc. So today we decided to check out Downtown Fullerton & it ended up being a day full of laughs & mostly awkward but some precious photos. Enjoy!

Oh Those Typical New Years Resolutions…

Yes, I am that girl that makes New Years Resolutions every year and usually completely fails at them by February (who are we kidding, I don’t even make it half way through January.) & forgets what they are completely by March. But it never stops me each year from making new ones & this year I’ve got some help! My boyfriend suggested to me to take a photo every day this year which at first I thought would be impossible, but with the help of my handy dandy iPhone 5 & this great app I found called Gratitude 365, I’ve made it 9 days!

image   image

Yes, the app is a little cheesy but the concept of it is great. It allows me to capture a photo  & write up what I am grateful for that day. I can’t wait to be able to look back & see all the awesome memories I’ve had & see all the things I am grateful for.

So far I’ve had quite a great year & it’s only January, go figure!
Of course I have other resolutions that I am trying to go for which I’m using another app introduced to me by my brother called Everest. & I’ve also checked out an awesome blog called Run Lucas Run which has a great New Years Resolutions kit you can download.
Yes, I’ve got a lot of different options on my plate & yes, I’m sure I’ll only keep up with one of them but it’s the thought that counts, right?
All in all, I hope everyone had a lovely New Years & keep up those resolutions!

DIY Pretty Packages

So now that I’ve got my new handy iMac (that i love oh so much) & some time on my hands with completing yet another semester of college, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on some crafty projects! Starting off with a DIY on my new present tags that I decided to make for my christmas presents this year! Here is the final product of my Christmas wrappings:

image

Supplies needed: Microsoft Word || Washi Tape || Cardstock Paper || Twine || Hole Punch |

I made an easy template on Word and was able to pick different fun fonts. I then printed out the tags and backed them with some card stock & hole punched them to be able to wrap the twine around the present. Lastly, I added some fun washi tape to it and voila-cute presents complete!

I did it again

Well, I decided to give porcelain printing another shot!
Now, I know I’m ruining this for these people but some of these are actually presents.

Also, I want to also say that this will be the start of holiday plates!
I will soon be selling holiday plates for displaying a treat, giving a treat on a cute plate, presents in general, etc, etc.

Let me know what you think!  (I can always do personalized items as well)

A Trip to San Diego

My boyfriend and I decided to check out San Diego because 1.) I love love love the city 2.) I have been wanting to go on an adventure & 3.) The sites and architecture are amazing! So there you have it, we decided why not check it out!

We spent the day mostly at Balboa Park which held most of the architecture and tourist side of the city. I enjoyed all the buildings and their beautiful shapes and details and of course, the kiddie train too!

Like I said, the architecture here definitely caught my eye.

What a beautiful lifetime piece of art that has been created in these buildings!

This auditorium area was just gorgeous and I definitely wish I could see a concert here! There were some wedding photos being taken at the moment and what a beautiful place to start your lives together!

& I actually did sneak a shot of the bridal party :)

All in all, it was a successful day of seeing such a remarkable city!
